Cogito, an innovator in real-time behavioral analytics for customer engagement, today announced the company has raised $5.5 million in Series A funding. Romulus Capital led the funding round, with participation from Salesforce Ventures.
Cogito Companion is a mobile application that integrates Cogito’s core technology of vocal analytics with a system that continuously collects and interprets the social signals underlying smartphone behaviors. Cogito’s algorithms compute validated behavioral indicators from the information gathered through normal cell phone use, deducing the behavioral and cognitive components of many mental health disorders. Cogito has partnered with top-tier research organizations to evaluate Cogito Companion™ in several different clinical settings. Our goal is to create opportunities for Cogito technology to have the biggest positive impact in the lives of those struggling with mental illness.
