Neural Analytics Gets $10M For Concussion Assessment Devices

Los Angeles-based Neural Analytics, which is developing medical devices to help first responders and other medical professionals to diagnose and assess Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), announced today that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from JSR Limited and Taiyu Capital. The company said the funding brings its total raised to $13M. The startup, led by Leo Petrossian, says it is developing products to help assess concussions, particularly athletes who play sports with a high rate of concussion.

Neural Analytics is creating products and services to measure, diagnose and track brain health. Their current focus is on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). They combine leading edge data science with established hardware to allow clinicians to accurately assess mild to severe TBI, including concussions. Their devices are portable, reliable and produce precise and objective physiological measurements.
